The San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) is in the process of evaluating its inventory of bus stops for upgrade (see action MLU-3.2-SA3). The City will assist as locations are selected.

The MTS Transit Amenities Policy (2021) was updated to ensure the equitable distribution of amenities across the MTS transit network. The City will coordinate with MTS on transit stop improvements and explore opportunities for the City's Climate Equity Index to inform this work.
