This indicator shows the total number of Zero Emission Vehicles (ZEVs; including battery-electric and fuel-cell vehicles) and Near-Zero Electric Vehicles (NZEVs; plug-in hybrid vehicles), expressed as a percentage of all registered vehicles citywide in San Diego. The percentages shown do not represent market share (the percentage of new ZEVs/NZEVs sold out of all new vehicle sales).
