This indicator breaks down the city of San Diego's total annual greenhouse gas emissions by sector, with separate lines for buildings, transportation, waste, water, and wastewater, as well as a line for the citywide total. Viewing each sector's emissions year by year makes it possible to see which contribute the most to overall emissions, and how each has changed over time. The green circles show the City's targets for total emissions reductions by 2030 and 2035.
