“Disposal” means all solid waste from all sources within City of San Diego boundaries, transported by all types of haulers (including self-haul) to landfill, recycling, or other disposal facilities. This indicator is not adjusted for population, so if every San Diegan disposes the same amount of waste every year, the total amount of waste will increase as our population increases.
