Update street planning and design process with a focus on community input from Communities of Concern to prioritize pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit

The City is developing an Inclusive Public Engagement Guide which will be completed in FY 25. This resource will create a framework to assure inclusive community participation on City plans, policies, projects and initiatives, particularly for people who live or work in Communities of Concern. The Engagement Guide will be utilized to guide outreach on projects with a pedestrian, bicycle, or transit nexus.

Description

The Inclusive Public Engagement Guide is part of Equity Forward which is a comprehensive approach to creating more equitable opportunities and investments in San Diego.
