Official description

Implement the City's Bicycle Master Plan and community plan bicycle networks with a Class IV First approach.
(Full action name in the CAP)

Description

The City Bicycle Master Plan and Community Plans identify the streets and corridors to implement the bicycle network of all bicycle facility Classes (I, II, III and IV). When implementing network improvements, the City will evaluate the proposed facility class for potential upgrades, including up to a Class IV Separated Bikeway. The separation may be in the form of posts, parked cars or a combination of both. The graphic below shows proper use of these lanes.
