The Fleet Operations Division operates one of the largest municipal fleets in the State of California. The Division has worked to input and analyze data in its Fleet Management Information Software and install telematics equipment in fleet vehicles to monitor and manage fleet performance. This data will be used to conduct a Fleet Operations Yards Electrification Assessment for four fleet operations yards, providing a cost/benefit analysis and long-term, phased strategy to determine the most economically viable, cost-effective pathway to electrify the City’s largest operation yards.
