Fleet vehicles dwell overnight at a minimum of 81 City facilities. Thirty-five (43 percent) of these facilities are located within Communities of Concern. These sites will be assessed for electric load capacity and Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) needs to create a master phased plan for all fleet vehicles. Implementing the fleet electrification program will reduce gasoline and diesel consumption by 1.7 million gallons and 1.1 million gallons, respectively, over the next five years, equating to a combined reduction of 27,500 metric tons of CO2e across the City.
