(Full action name in the CAP)

Description

The Zero Emissions Vehicles (ZEV) Strategy identifies strategic areas and actions the City can take directly, indirectly, or can influence to facilitate a successful transition to zero emissions vehicles. The Strategy rests on five core pillars to identify and address the short- and long-term opportunities and barriers to widespread ZEV adoption and infrastructure deployment:

  • Policies
  • Programs & Processes
  • Community Outreach & Engagement
  • Collaboration & Partnerships
  • Infrastructure Buildout

Several Strategy actions are already underway, and many others will be executed concurrently.

Please follow the development and implementation of the City's ZEV Strategy here: https://www.sandiego.gov/sustainability-mobility/energy/city-energy-data/zev-strategy
