Develop policies that encourage and incentivize developers, homeowners' associations, and other organizations to preserve, maintain, and plant trees.

As part of updating the Urban Forestry Program 5-Year Plan, the Transportation Department will review and offer suggestions for creating or updating policies aimed at preserving, maintaining, and planting trees. Some of this work is already in progress and does not hinge on the update of the program plan.
